Terrell Place is a thirteen story office building across the street from the MCI Center that utilized the existing historic façade of the old Hecht’s building and is an integral part of the revitalization of the Chinatown section in Washington, DC. The building tenants include two upscale restaurants as well as prestigious law offices. Besides almost 500,000 square feet of office and restaurant space, a large 150,000 square foot underground parking garage can be accessed from the street.

The mechanical system consists of a 1,800 ton centrifugal cooling system located in two penthouse mechanical rooms, 37 air handling units and over 800 variable air and constant volume boxes.  The plumbing systems include two storm drainage management systems, a network of sump pumps and 500 plumbing fixtures.
